Meet the Blue Ocean Farm family
Generations of farming experience, family built and run with that personal touch.
At Blue Ocean Farm, we’re a family-run operation where everyone plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly and caring for our animals.
Jason – Farm Manager & Partner
Jason oversees the day-to-day operations of the farm, leads project direction, and handles design and development. He’s deeply involved in animal care and ensures everything moves forward with purpose and efficiency.
Maria (Mom) – Accounting & Scheduling Manager, Partner
Maria manages the business side of the farm, including accounting, scheduling, and detailed animal records such as health treatments, tagging, and tracking. She keeps everything organized and running on schedule. AKA the Boss.
Jerry (Dad) – Grounds Manager, Partner
Gerry is responsible for maintaining the property and infrastructure. He plays a key role in managing growth and keeping the farm operating at its best. AKA the voice of reason.
Emilee – Farm hand & Safety Coordinator
Emilee is hands-on with daily chores, providing dedicated animal care and bringing the strength and energy needed to get the work done. She also plays a key role in improving the farm’s day-to-day operations, consistently looking for ways to make tasks easier, more efficient, and safer for everyone. Her forward-thinking approach to safety and workflow helps ensure a better working environment for the whole team.
Sarah – Farm Hand & Creative & Design Support
Based in beautiful Colorado, Sarah spends much of her time traveling and exploring the outdoors. She regularly visits the farm, where she contributes her artistic eye and design background to help shape the look and feel of Blue Ocean Farm. When she’s here, she also works alongside her sister Emilee on daily chores and farm projects, always ready to lend a hand.
Our Story
Local Family Farm
Blue Ocean Farm is a family-owned farm built on generations of agricultural roots and a shared passion for sustainable living. We take pride in providing our community with fresh, nutritious produce, free-range eggs, and quality lambs—raised with care and respect for the land and animals.
Our story runs deeper than just today’s farm. Jerry (Dad) grew up in the farmland of Oxnard, California, where he worked in the fields as a kid and helped his father raise chickens and other livestock. Farming and animal care have been a part of his family for generations, shaping the values we carry forward today.
Maria (Mom) also brings a rich agricultural background. Raised in a family with Italian roots, she grew up around homegrown vegetables, fruit, and chickens—where sharing food with family and community was a way of life. That tradition of growing and giving is at the heart of everything we do.
Blue Ocean Farm began with a simple goal: to provide honest, naturally grown food while creating a connection between our farm and the families we serve. Through our farm, and the stories we share, we hope to carry on the traditions we were raised with—hard work, quality food, and a strong sense of community.
